This gorgeous private room is perfect for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, intimate celebrations, birthday parties, and anniversaries for up to 12 guests. Complete with plenty of natural light, views of the ever changing station scenery and architecture of the Barlow Shed, alongside the Champagne region of France engraved on the wall, treat your guests to something a little different.




Frequently asked questions

The private dining room accommodates up to 12 guests and operates on a £100 per person package including VAT. This covers hire of the private space, plasma screen, Wi-Fi access, flipchart on request, Searcys branded notepad and pencil, and bottled still and sparkling water replenished throughout the day.

For the Tasting Room (private dining space), there is a £100 per person minimum spend including VAT. Payment terms require 50% of the minimum spend plus signed contract to proceed, with the remainder due at least 30 days prior to the event.

Private dining events can be scheduled during regular operating hours. Events typically run from 09:30am to 3pm based on confirmed bookings, though specific timing can be arranged based on availability and requirements.

A 13% discretionary service charge applies to the total bill and does not contribute to your minimum spend. All food and beverage beyond the basic package (water, notepad, pencil) would be additional costs on top of the £100 per person base rate.

The private dining room includes a plasma screen, Wi-Fi access, flipchart available on request, Searcys branded notepad and pencil for each guest, and bottled still and sparkling water replenished throughout the day. The room features natural light and views of the station architecture.

The venue can accommodate special celebration requirements, but specific policies on decorations and entertainment are determined on a case-by-case basis. External entertainment and suppliers can be arranged through the venue, though this would be charged separately from the base package.

Searcys offers seasonally inspired menus using fresh British produce, with prices starting from £50 per person for the Classic 3-course menu. Upgrade options include Soirée or Deluxe menus, and bespoke packages can be created to suit specific requirements and budgets.

Booking requires a signed contract and 50% deposit of the minimum spend to secure the space. The remainder must be paid at least 30 days prior to the event. Specific cancellation policies and advance booking requirements should be confirmed directly with the events team.
