The Royal Over-Seas League is an elegant venue in central London offering a unique and tranquil setting for your special day.

This historic listed building features superb views and is minutes from Buckingham Palace and other wonderful attractions in the West End.

Comprising two Grade 1 listed buildings, Over-Seas House offers a range of splendid period function rooms; many with exquisite views over a private garden and into Green Park.

Licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies; we offer a complete and exemplary service, for 20 to 200 guests.

The Lily Wedding Package costs £244 plus VAT per guest with a minimum of 30 guests. It includes one hour sparkling wine reception, 8 canapés, three course dinner with tea/coffee and petit fours, half bottle of house wine with meal, champagne toast, white linen, silver cake stand and knife, room hire for Garden Lawn (one hour reception) and Princess Alexandra Hall (6pm-11pm access), and event management.

The Garden Lawn is available for arrival drink receptions with capacity for 40 guests standing, featuring panoramic views into Green Park. The Princess Alexandra Hall accommodates wedding dinners for 40 guests on round tables with space for a dance floor, and features white acoustic panelling, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and integrated audio-visual system.

The Garden Lawn holds 40 guests standing for receptions. The Princess Alexandra Hall accommodates 40 guests on round tables with dance floor space for dinner, or up to 150 guests theatre style with staging for larger ceremonies.

Yes, the venue is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and can accommodate weddings for 20 to 200 guests. The venue offers a complete wedding service with an in-house wedding coordinator.

Wedding packages typically include access from 6pm to 11pm for the Princess Alexandra Hall. The Garden Lawn is available for one hour drink receptions, and access times can be arranged from 2pm for garden events that must be fully vacated by 10pm or 11pm depending on the package.

The venue does not offer dry hire and requires use of their in-house catering services due to limited kitchen facilities available to external caterers. All suppliers and entertainers must be approved in advance by the Event Team.

Entertainment is not included in wedding packages and will be charged at additional cost. In the Garden area, only jazz, classical or acoustic background music is permitted in keeping with the clubhouse environment and neighbourhood requirements.

To confirm booking, provide written confirmation with contact details and billing address. A signed contract and deposit of 100% of the package price based on minimum numbers is required within one week of confirmation.

Yes, overnight accommodation is available at the Clubhouse on the night of your wedding event, subject to availability. Contact the Reservations Department for details and bookings.

A discretionary 12.5% service charge on food and beverage is added to all final invoices, which you can opt out of by informing the Sales & Events Team before the final invoice is raised. This charge applies to the net value of food and beverage only.
