Weekend bookings require a minimum spend of £15,000 to open the venue, as 116 Pall Mall only operates during weekdays normally. For weekday events, specific minimum spends are not mentioned in the available information but would need to be confirmed based on your event requirements.

The Carlton room can accommodate 120 guests for banquet dining with reception space, or up to 180 guests for banquet dining only. For standing receptions, the space holds up to 300 guests.

Standard venue hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays. Late access fees apply at £1,250 + VAT per hour for events extending after 11:00pm or before 8:00am, with events able to run until 1:00am maximum.

A 50% deposit is required within 14 days of signing the contract. Payment can be made by BACS transfer, over the phone, or via payment link (AMEX not accepted via payment link). AMEX payments are accepted via PDQ machine over the phone but incur an additional 5% charge of the invoice value.

Christmas dinner packages start from £171 + VAT per person (minimum 120 guests) including champagne on arrival, three-course meal, three hours unlimited drinks, and venue hire. Standard dinner packages are available from £149 + VAT per person for 100 guests. All catering requires set menu selection with dietary requirements catered separately.

Contracts must be signed within specific deadlines (typically within days of receiving the contract) to secure the date. Cancellation terms and conditions apply immediately after contract signing. The venue requires signatures on both Page 4 and Page 6 for contracts to be valid.

Basic AV requirements like screens, projectors, and microphones can be arranged with additional quotes provided. DJ and dancefloor packages are available as add-ons. The space can accommodate stages and entertainment setups, with 5-hour DJ sets typically included in dinner packages.

The Carlton room includes access to a classic cocktail bar and covered garden terrace. Additional spaces like breakout rooms (St James 1 and St James 2) can be hired for smaller groups, with capacities of 50 standing/40 banquet/32 cabaret/50 theatre style seating.

All packages include security and cloakroom services as standard. Christmas packages include traditional theming and table centrepieces. Filtered still and sparkling mineral water is provided with dinner service, and the venue is fully accessible with lift and ramp access.
