Frequently asked questions

Weekend events require an overall minimum spend of £15,000 to open the venue, as 116 Pall Mall only operates during weekdays under normal circumstances. This minimum applies to the total event cost including venue hire, catering, and any additional services.

Standard venue hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays. Early access before 8:00am or late access after 5:00pm incurs additional charges of £1,250 + VAT per hour.

A 50% deposit is required within 14 days of signing the contract. Payment can be made by BACs transfer, over the phone, or via payment link (AMEX not accepted on payment link). AMEX payments are accepted via PDQ machine over the phone but incur an additional 5% charge of the invoice value.

Contracts must be signed promptly to secure dates, as spaces remain available to other clients until contracted. The venue typically requires contract signature within days of the proposal being accepted, with some cases requiring same-day signature to hold the space.

Meeting rooms accommodate 2-40 guests with built-in equipment including plasma screens, flipcharts, and HDMI connections. Full day room hire costs £1,000 + VAT, half day hire costs £550 + VAT, with additional hours after 6:00pm charged at £100 + VAT per hour.

External catering is strictly forbidden at the venue. Standard catering packages include filtered water at £3.75 + VAT per person, tea/coffee and pastries at £7.00 + VAT per person, and sandwich lunch at £23 + VAT per person. All catering must be pre-ordered to avoid delays.

The venue operates a provisional hold system where competing clients can be given 48-hour deadlines to make decisions. If you're interested in a date that's provisionally held by another client, the venue can deadline them to secure the space for you.

The venue is fully accessible with accessible toilets, lift access, and ramp access available. The venue is located 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Circus and 4 minutes walk from Charing Cross station for convenient transport links.
