Frequently asked questions

Room hire rates vary by space size and demand, ranging from £450-£6,500 per day depending on the room. For example, smaller meeting rooms start at £450-£550 per day, while larger spaces like The Arena cost £5,000-£6,500 per day. All quotes are valid for 7 days only, after which spaces are automatically released if not confirmed.

Basic room hire includes complimentary WiFi access for all delegates, still and sparkling mineral water, 85'' TV with HDMI cable, and 1 flipchart with pads and pens. All rates are inclusive of VAT. Additional AV equipment like PA systems (£650-£750) and microphones (£90-£100 each) are charged separately.

Day Delegate Packages cost £75-£85 per person with minimum guaranteed numbers of 90-250 people depending on the event. This includes arrival tea/coffee with treats, mid-morning refreshments, delegate lunch (hot and cold fork buffet), mid-afternoon tea/coffee, room hire, pads/pens, mineral water, screen, LCD projector, and flipchart.

The Arena accommodates up to 350 people in theatre style or 162 with round tables. Remix 1+2 can hold up to 200 people in theatre style or 135 in cabaret setup (9 people per table). Smaller studios accommodate 100 people maximum in theatre style, with boardroom setups typically for 10-12 people.

Catering options include: unlimited tea/coffee throughout the day (£17.50 per person), tea/coffee with snacks (£7 per serving), sandwich lunch (£17.50 per person), restaurant lunch (£29 per person), and working buffet lunch (£24.50 per person). Canapes start at £16 for 4 items per person or £23 for 6 items.

External catering requires at least two weeks advance notice for necessary approvals. For simple items like sandwiches, you must sign a form confirming you won't need kitchen access. External catering is not permitted with short notice bookings (less than two weeks).

Basic AV includes 85'' TV with HDMI cable and flipchart. Additional equipment costs: PA system £650-£750, microphones £90-£100 each, AV technician from £650. Large conference live streaming equipment with up to 5 cameras costs £3,300-£3,500 per day. You can bring external AV equipment with PAT test, RAM test, and liability insurance forms.

Bookings are held on either 'First Option' (exclusive 7-day hold) or 'Shared Option' (multiple clients can hold the same space). Commission is paid at 10% on gross rate. Spaces are automatically released if not confirmed within the quote validity period, typically 7 days.

Yes, larger spaces have minimum spend requirements. For example, Remix 1+2 has a minimum food and beverage spend of £2,500 in addition to the room hire rate of £3,150 (reduced from £3,700). Exhibition spaces like The Arena may have minimum catering spends of £4,000.

Events typically run during standard business hours with setup time included. Evening events can extend until 23:59 but may incur additional charges. The venue requires specific timing details upfront as any changes to event specifications may result in requoting.
