Frequently asked questions

The Business space (private room) accommodates up to 70 delegates in theatre style, 36 delegates in cabaret style, or 28 in boardroom configuration. The mainspace meeting area can hold up to 200 delegates theatre style or 60 cabaret style, but has a minimum of 120 delegates for day delegate packages.

Half-day packages cost £46 per person (ex VAT) including either arrival breakfast or grazing lunch, 1 snack break, unlimited teas/coffees/juices/water, room hire and AV equipment. Full-day packages cost £59 per person (ex VAT) including arrival breakfast, grazing lunch, 2 snack breaks, unlimited beverages, room hire and AV equipment. Both prices exclude the 12.5% service charge.

The private room requires a minimum of 30 delegates, while the mainspace meeting area requires a minimum of 120 delegates for day delegate packages. Maximum capacity varies by setup - private room holds 70 theatre/36 cabaret, mainspace holds 200 theatre/60 cabaret.

On Thursdays, business events must end by 1:00 PM as the venue opens to the public at 2:00 PM. If your event needs to continue past 1:00 PM on Thursday, additional fees apply to extend opening hours. Other days typically allow events from 9am with end times varying by arrangement.

All business bookings include projector screen (10ft cinematic screen), 2 handheld microphones, lectern, furniture (chairs), and complimentary Wi-Fi. The space is presentation-ready with HD projector and LCD TV screen capabilities.

Furniture hire costs vary by space and event size. For the mainspace (200 delegates), furniture hire costs around £800 + VAT. For the private room (up to 70 delegates), furniture hire is listed as N.A., suggesting it may be included or not required for smaller groups.

A 25% confirmation deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days prior to the event date (14 days for private room bookings). For bookings made within the final payment window, full payment is required upfront.

Yes, you can combine formal meetings with social activities. An example schedule shows 9am arrival with breakfast, 10am presentations, 12pm lunch, 1-2pm more presentations, then 2pm social onwards. The venue can provide quotes for exclusive area reservations with group packages for the social portion.

The venue operates from 9am, so events cannot start at 8am as requested by some clients. Events typically run 9am-2pm for conferences, with social components potentially extending later. Late-night events may be possible until 2am but not until 5am as some clients have requested.

Day delegate packages include room hire in the per-person price (£46-£59 + VAT + 12.5% service charge). For other business events or social components, minimum spend requirements may apply instead of separate room hire fees, with amounts varying by day of week and space requirements.
