Frequently asked questions

For exclusive hire of the Brasserie, there's a £2,000-£2,500 hire fee plus minimum spends of £10,000-£23,400 including VAT on food and beverage depending on guest numbers and day of week. Thursday events require higher minimum spends (£16,400) compared to Tuesday/Wednesday (£14,400). A 13% discretionary service charge applies to the final bill but doesn't count toward the minimum spend.

The Brasserie can accommodate up to 170 guests seated for dinner and dance events, or 300-350 guests for standing receptions. For semi-private spaces, the Kitchen Bar holds 50 seated or 100 standing, while the Champagne Lounge accommodates 50 guests with mixed seating and standing.

For exclusive hire, 50% of the minimum spend plus 100% of the hire fee is required upfront with a signed contract. The remainder of the minimum spend must be paid at least 30 days before the event. For semi-private spaces, 50% of the minimum spend is required upfront, with the balance due 30 days prior.

For semi-private spaces, music is not allowed as it would interfere with regular service in the rest of the venue. For exclusive hire, live music is permitted and entertainment can be arranged through external suppliers at additional cost. The venue works with various artists and suppliers but charges separately for entertainment services.

Exclusive hire includes dedicated event planner, guest list check-in, cloakroom service, full staffing, and security. For meeting packages at £100 per person, plasma screen, Wi-Fi access, flipchart, branded notepads and pencils, and bottled water throughout the day are included.

Events typically run from 17:00-22:00 for semi-private spaces, with the Champagne Lounge closing at 21:00. Exclusive hire can extend to 23:30 or later. The Tasting Room is available for daytime events from 09:30-15:00. All timings are flexible and can be arranged to suit specific requirements.

Semi-private spaces don't include cloakroom facilities and music is prohibited as it interferes with regular restaurant service. These areas are situated within the main Brasserie or Champagne Bar, so while offering some privacy, they remain part of the active venue environment.

A 13% discretionary service charge applies to all bills and doesn't contribute to minimum spend requirements. External entertainment, live music, or DJ services are charged separately. For the Champagne Lounge outdoor area, an additional £500 is added to the minimum spend requirement.

The venue is not suitable for conferences as it doesn't have lecture facilities. While meeting spaces like the Tasting Room offer basic presentation equipment (plasma screen, flipchart), the venue specializes in dining and drinks events rather than formal business presentations or conferences.
