The Court Room and The Luncheon Room at Ironmongers' Hall

Weekend events have a minimum spend of £18,000. This applies to all weekend bookings regardless of guest numbers or event type.

The Banqueting Hall and Drawing Room can accommodate up to 130 guests on round tables for seated dining, or 154 guests on an E-shaped table configuration. For standing receptions, the ground floor spaces can hold up to 70 guests.

No, external catering is not permitted. Ironmongers' Hall has an exclusive relationship with their in-house catering partners, Company of Cooks, who handle all food and beverage service.

Standard evening hire runs from 6pm to 11pm (with bar closing at 11pm). Extensions are available at £1,500 + VAT per hour, and events can run until 11:30pm with music finishing by 11:15pm.

The fine dining package costs £110 + VAT per person with a minimum of 50 guests. It includes corkage for one sparkling wine plus one red and white wine, three canapés pre-dinner, three-course menu, coffee/tea/chocolates, filtered water, PA system with 3 handheld mics, piano access, venue coordination, all staffing/glassware/linen, and manned cloakroom.

Christmas packages range from £140-£246 + VAT per person depending on inclusions. The standard package includes exclusive hire 6pm-11:30pm, 2 glasses prosecco on arrival, 3-course festive menu, ½ bottle house wine with meal, DJ and dance floor, manned cloakroom, entrance steward, and full event management.

Basic packages include PA system, 2m wide projector screen with back projection, lectern, and up to 3 handheld mics. An AV technician costs £480 + VAT for up to 8 hours. Additional equipment like staging (6m x 2m stage with 3m screen) starts from approximately £2,400 + VAT.

Daytime venue hire varies by timing and space. For example, Banqueting Hall and Drawing Room hire from 6pm-11pm costs £3,400 + VAT, with extensions from 1pm-6pm available for an additional £2,000 + VAT.

For groups up to 60, the Court Room (60 theatre, 30 cabaret, 26 boardroom) with Luncheon Room for breakout/catering is recommended. For larger dining events up to 130 guests, the first-floor Banqueting Hall and Drawing Room combination is ideal.

The venue is open weekdays and Saturdays only. Some time slots have limited availability, such as 8:30am-12:00pm for certain dates. The venue cannot accommodate events requiring the same space for both daytime conferences and evening dinners on the same day.
