The Crypt is our most exclusive space. There is nothing quite like it in London and the open plan layout and large capacity (up to 500 standing) makes it the perfect location for Receptions, Dinners, Brand Activations and Networking Events




Frequently asked questions

Dry hire for St Martin's Hall or The Gallery starts from £2,000 + VAT. The Crypt exclusive hire costs £24,000 + VAT (£20,000 excluding VAT). These are starting prices and can be amended based on your specific requirements and budget.

The Crypt holds up to 500 standing or 200 seated. St Martin's Hall and Lightwell accommodate 200 standing or 100 seated, with a maximum theatre style capacity of 130. For cabaret style seating, the maximum is 64 people (72 at a squeeze). The conferencing space holds 120 maximum in theatre style.

A day delegate rate of £77 + VAT (minimum 80 people) includes room hire, AV equipment, three tea/coffee serves, working sandwich lunch, and staffing. Christmas packages cost £292.02 per person excluding VAT and include two-course dinner, cheese & desserts, arrival fizz, wine with dinner, and post-dinner bar spend. Bowl food costs £36.83 per person and canapes £24.55 per person.

Yes, several mandatory costs apply. The Crypt requires a £6,000 refundable damage deposit (£5,000 excluding VAT). Staffing costs £6,927 including VAT (£5,772.50 excluding VAT). Glassware and cutlery hire ranges from £1,364.92 to £6,964.80 depending on the event size and requirements.

Basic PA system and lighting are included in room hire at no additional cost. The day delegate package includes projector, screen, lectern with power and HDMI, microphones, dedicated WiFi, and staging on request. More complex AV requirements would need separate quotation.

Events typically run from 8:00am to 17:00 for conferences. Evening events can run until midnight or 1:00am depending on the space. Setup times vary - some events allow 30-minute setup (5:30pm setup for 6:00pm start), while others may require access from lunchtime for evening events.
