Yes, capacity is subject to AV requirements and layout needs. For awards ceremonies or events requiring everyone to face a screen/stage, maximum capacity drops to 80 guests even in larger spaces. Theatre-style layouts also reduce capacity compared to standing receptions.

The venue can provide screens, microphones, and presentation equipment, but AV requirements may reduce room capacity. For presentations, additional screens on the sides are recommended for larger groups to ensure visibility from the back of the room.

The venue offers 5-day optional holds upon request for confirmed availability. For certain dates, particularly midweek events, the venue may require multiday events alongside group accommodation, making single-day bookings unavailable on some dates.

Groups of 12 or fewer may not constitute a group booking and would need to use individual reservations rather than private hire. The venue has specific minimum spend thresholds that increase with group size, starting from £3,250 for small meetings up to £21,000+ for large receptions.

Events must end by midnight with music switched off at this time - this timing cannot be extended. Access typically ends at midnight for evening events, though some daytime events may have 5:00pm end times depending on the space and arrangement.
