Frequently asked questions

The Tapestry Room requires a minimum food and beverage spend of £7,500 including VAT for up to 80 guests. This amount can be used against any pre-ordered food from private dining menus and any beverages consumed on the 6th floor during your event. If the minimum spend is not met with food and beverage, the shortfall is charged as room hire.

The Tapestry Room accommodates a maximum of 80 guests in cabaret style, 80 guests on round tables, or 120 guests on round tables for larger events. For theatre-style presentations, it can hold up to 150 guests, though capacity may be reduced depending on AV requirements.

Standard access is from 08:00 to 17:00 for daytime events, or 18:30 to midnight for evening events. Organisers and suppliers are welcomed from 17:00 for evening events. Music must be turned off at midnight and this timing cannot be extended.

A mandatory 14.5% discretionary service charge applies to all food and beverage consumption. AV equipment and any third-party services (such as flowers or entertainment) are charged separately and are not included in the minimum spend.

The Drawing Room has a minimum food and beverage spend of £3,250 including VAT for up to 26 guests in boardroom style. The RWB Room requires £2,750 including VAT for up to 26 guests boardroom or 21 cabaret style. Access is typically 08:30-17:00 for daytime meetings.

Yes, multiple rooms can be combined for larger events. For example, The Drawing Room and Saloon combination requires a minimum spend of £15,000 including VAT for up to 70 guests. The Tapestry with Saloon and Drawing Room for catering requires £12,750 including VAT for events up to 150 guests.

Full-day packages include arrival tea/coffee with breakfast items, mid-morning tea/coffee break with food options, working lunch, afternoon tea/coffee break with food options, water throughout the day, branded stationery, and a dedicated Events Manager. All catering counts toward the minimum spend requirement.

For some dates, The Ned only offers first option for multiday events alongside group accommodation, making single-day events unavailable. Mondays and Fridays typically do not have the multiday/group accommodation requirement in place, offering more flexibility for single-day bookings.

The venue offers a 5-day optional hold upon request while you confirm details. Space is not automatically held during the quotation process. Specific payment timelines and booking procedures are handled through the dedicated Events Manager assigned to each booking.
