The Tapestry that wraps all four walls of the room was the largest ever produced in England when it was created in the 1920s. Its walnut panelling and chandeliers are also original adding to the grandeur of any special occasion.

Minimum spend varies by room size and guest count. For The Tapestry Room (up to 120 guests), the minimum spend starts from £15,000 including VAT. For smaller spaces like The Drawing Room (up to 70 guests), minimum spend is £15,000 including VAT for combined room usage. All food and beverage consumption counts toward this spend, with no additional room hire if the minimum is met.

A mandatory 14.5% discretionary service charge applies to all catering consumption. AV equipment and third-party elements like flowers are additional costs beyond the minimum spend. Any minimum spend not met with food and beverage would be charged as room hire.

Evening events typically have access from 18:30 to midnight, with organizers and suppliers welcomed from 17:00. Music must be turned off at midnight and this timing cannot be extended. Day events generally run from 08:00 to 17:00, though specific timing may vary by room and event type.

Yes, The Ned can host both ceremonies and receptions. The Tapestry Room can be configured for ceremonies with theatre-style seating for up to 150 guests, then reconfigured for the reception. Multiple rooms can be used in combination, such as cocktail reception in one space followed by dinner in another.

Yes, The Ned offers access to two oversized outdoor terraces. The Princes Dome includes its own stunning wrap-around private terrace fully equipped with awnings and heaters, suitable for all year round use. The Southeast Terrace can accommodate up to 70 guests standing for cocktail receptions.

The Ned offers a 5-day optional hold upon request for wedding dates. Space is not automatically held during the inquiry process. Couples should confirm their requirements quickly as popular dates, especially weekends, may have limited availability or require multi-day bookings with group accommodation.

Some dates may only be available for multi-day events alongside group accommodation requirements. Single-day wedding events are more readily available on Mondays and Fridays when multi-day restrictions are not in place. Weekend availability may be limited and subject to additional requirements.
