Frequently asked questions

St Pancras offers several spaces: the Tasting Room (capacity not specified in source), Kitchen Bar (semi-private, 50 seated or 100 standing), Champagne Lounge (50 guests standing reception), Champagne Bar English Wing (150 guests standing), and full Brasserie exclusive hire (170 seated or 300-350 standing). The semi-private dining room mentioned in the description accommodates up to 20 guests.

Minimum spends vary by space and day: Tasting Room £100 per person including VAT, Kitchen Bar £1,500-£3,500 including VAT, Champagne Lounge £1,250-£1,500 including VAT, Champagne Bar English Wing £6,500 including VAT, and Brasserie exclusive £10,000-£23,400 including VAT depending on the event size and day of week. Thursday events typically have higher minimums than Tuesday/Wednesday.

Most semi-private spaces have no hire fee if minimum spend is met - any shortfall becomes a hire fee. Brasserie exclusive hire has a £2,000-£3,500 including VAT hire fee depending on the event. The Champagne Lounge for outdoor reception requires an additional £500 towards the minimum spend.

Most bookings require 50% of the minimum spend plus signed contract to proceed, with the remainder due at least 30 days before the event. Some smaller events require £500 upfront deposit towards pre-order. For exclusive hire, 100% of the hire fee plus 50% minimum spend is required upfront.

A 13% discretionary service charge applies to the total bill and does not contribute toward the minimum spend. This is mandatory and calculated on the final amount spent on food and beverage.

Semi-private spaces within the Brasserie and Champagne Bar do not allow music as it would interfere with regular service in the rest of the venue. Music and entertainment are only permitted for exclusive hire of the entire Brasserie, where external artists and suppliers can be arranged at additional cost.

The Tasting Room includes plasma screen, Wi-Fi, flipchart on request, branded notepads and pencils, and bottled water throughout the day. Other spaces have background music, natural daylight, and Wi-Fi. Exclusive Brasserie hire includes dedicated event planner, guest list check-in, cloakroom service, full staffing, and security.

Semi-private spaces do not include cloakroom facilities, and music systems cannot be connected as it would disrupt regular service. These amenities are only available with exclusive venue hire.

Events typically run during various time slots: daytime events from 09:30-15:00, evening receptions from 17:00-21:00 or 17:00-22:00, and exclusive hire can extend until 23:30 or 01:00. The Champagne Lounge closes at 22:00 (venue closing time).

Menus are seasonally inspired using fresh British produce. Classic 3-course menus start from £50 per person, with upgrade options to Soirée or Deluxe menus available. The venue offers bespoke packages and various drinks packages, with all pricing subject to seasonal changes and requiring advance discussion.
