The Apollo is a unique and inspiring space to host conferences, large meetings and staff forums. We have flexible formats that can host from 400 to 3341 theater style and up to 680 cabaret style and our former use as a 1930's art deco cinema means there are fabulous views of the stage from all over our auditorium. We are able to offer a dry hire fee if you'd prefer to source your own catering and AV or we can make you event planning simple and offer a full DDR package. We are an unusual central London conference venue for those looking for something fresh and a little different.




Frequently asked questions

The venue accommodates 3,400 guests in theatre style seating, up to 670 in dining format for private/corporate events, and 5,300 for part-standing events. The minimum capacity for dining format events is 350 guests, making it unsuitable for smaller gatherings under this threshold.

Saturday hire costs £35,000 + VAT for full theatre style events. Pricing is reduced for off-peak days Monday through Wednesday, though specific weekday rates are not disclosed in available information. Additional costs and minimum spends may apply depending on event type.

New promoters must provide two references from similar-sized UK venues (2,500+ capacity) where they have held events recently. This policy applies to all first-time clients, and bookings cannot proceed without satisfactory UK venue references from comparable-scale events.

Standard venue hire includes staffing, security, cleaning, sound package, technical manager, dedicated event manager, basic security personnel, FOH and cloakroom staff, 10 backstage dressing rooms/production offices, event first aid, event cleaner, full branding potential, 6 digital poster sites across the venue front, and service yard access. Food & beverage and AV/production are not included unless specifically arranged.

Yes, there is a minimum bar spend requirement of £25,000 (excluding VAT) for events utilizing the venue's bar services. This applies to events where alcohol service is provided through the venue's catering operations.

The venue provides exclusive hire access from 9am with events licensed until 1am. De-rig access is available from 7am the following day and must be completed by midday at the latest, charged at £1,650 + VAT per hour.

The venue has theatre runs that make it unavailable for private hire, including a confirmed run from mid-July until the end of August. Availability should be confirmed well in advance as theatre bookings take priority during these periods.
