Frequently asked questions

Screen 1 (249 seats) costs £3,839 + VAT per slot Monday-Sunday. Screen 3 (81 seats) costs £1,249 + VAT per slot Monday-Sunday. Weekend slots are 12-3pm, 3-6pm, 6-9pm, or 8:30-11:30pm, with evening slots being 5:30-8:30pm or 8:30-11:30pm on weekdays.

The hire cost includes use of the screen and projector, up to 3 handheld microphones, technical support, and a technical rehearsal of 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the event day at 10:30am. All technical equipment and basic AV support are provided as standard.

The bar costs £300 + VAT per hour for exclusive use accommodating up to 250 people standing. If you only need an area in the bar for up to 100 people standing, this costs £150 + VAT per hour.

Weekend slots are 12-3pm, 3-6pm, 6-9pm, or 8:30-11:30pm. Evening weekday slots are 5:30-8:30pm or 8:30-11:30pm. If you want multiple consecutive slots, the price doubles for each additional slot. For example, a 5-hour daytime hire (pre-6pm) costs £3,000 + VAT for Screen 1.

Standard format is DCP, which must be delivered 72 hours prior to the technical rehearsal. If you have another format, conversion costs £500 + VAT. For presentations, laptops can be connected directly to the projector. Additional fees apply for late delivery or missed technical rehearsals.

You work with a maximum tab limit system. Self-service selection includes house wine, prosecco, beers and soft drinks at £6 per person per drink. Cocktails, G&Ts and hard seltzer cans require pre-ordering. All food and drink orders must be placed 2 weeks ahead of your event - orders after this cannot be guaranteed.

Technical rehearsals are mandatory and take place at 10:30am on weekdays, lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your event complexity. You must bring the laptop being used on event day and ask for Michael when you arrive. This must be confirmed at least two weeks in advance as slots get booked up.

A branding package is offered alongside all events, including use of the canopy or readograph, takeover of all quad posters and digital screens throughout the venue. This allows you to customize the venue's visual identity for your event.

The venue gets very booked up, particularly for weekend slots. Technical rehearsals must be confirmed at least two weeks ahead. All food and beverage orders require 2 weeks notice. Some periods show no availability for the rest of the year, so early booking is essential.

If you have specific accessibility requirements, you must communicate these as soon as possible to ensure accommodation. The venue can provide directors chairs or high stools for seated panels/Q&As, and lecterns can be provided for presentations on stage.
