Frequently asked questions

Screen 1 (249 seats) costs £3,839 + VAT per slot Monday-Sunday, while Screen 3 (81 seats) costs £1,249 + VAT per slot Monday-Sunday. Weekend slots are defined as 12-3pm, 3-6pm, 6-9pm, or 8:30-11:30pm, and evening slots are 5:30-8:30pm or 8:30-11:30pm. If you need multiple consecutive slots, the price doubles for each additional slot.

Content must be delivered in DCP format 72 hours prior to your technical rehearsal. If you have content in another format, there's a £500 + VAT conversion fee. Additional fees apply for late delivery or missed technical rehearsals, though specific amounts aren't disclosed upfront.

The hire cost includes use of the screen and projector, up to 3 handheld microphones, technical support, and a mandatory technical rehearsal. The rehearsal is 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on event complexity) and must be scheduled between 10:30-11:30am on a weekday at least two weeks in advance due to high demand.

Exclusive bar hire costs £300 + VAT per hour for up to 250 people standing. If you only need a section of the bar for up to 100 people standing, it's £150 + VAT per hour. The bar can accommodate events alongside screen hire for networking and reception purposes.

Food and beverage works on a maximum tab system with self-service house wine, prosecco, beers and soft drinks at £6 per person per drink. Cocktails, G&Ts and hard seltzers require pre-orders. All catering orders must be placed 2 weeks ahead of your event to guarantee staffing and stock - orders after this deadline cannot be guaranteed.

Daytime slots (pre-6pm) cost less than evening slots. For example, Screen 1 costs £2,400 + VAT for 4 hours pre-6pm, £3,000 + VAT for 5 hours pre-6pm, but £4,800 + VAT for a full 9am-5pm day. Evening slots are more expensive and have limited availability on certain dates.

Yes, laptops can be connected to the projector for presentations. For optimal display, presentations should be in 16:9 ratio full frame format. Avoid borders or text/images on extreme edges as content appears exactly as it does on your laptop screen. You'll need to bring your presentation laptop to the mandatory technical rehearsal.

Standard equipment includes up to 3 wireless handheld microphones, lecterns, and directors chairs/high stools for panels. Lapel or headset microphones aren't provided and must be hired externally (which can be arranged). Presentation clickers must be supplied by the client, and any branding packages are available as add-ons.

Availability fills up quickly, with some periods showing no availability for the rest of the year. Technical rehearsals must be confirmed at least two weeks ahead due to high demand. The venue gets very booked up, so early booking is essential, particularly for weekend slots.

The venue accommodates various event types including corporate presentations, private screenings, Q&As, and film festivals. For film screenings, content must be in DCP format or incur conversion fees. The venue can handle both presentation-style events and traditional film screenings with appropriate technical support for each format.
