What are the hire costs for Screen 1 and Screen 3?

Screen 1 (249 seats) costs £3,839 + VAT per slot on all days. Screen 3 (81 seats) costs £1,249 + VAT per slot on all days. Weekend slots are 12-3pm, 3-6pm, 6-9pm, or 8:30-11:30pm, with evening slots being 5:30-8:30pm or 8:30-11:30pm on weekdays.

What's included in the screen hire cost?

The hire cost includes use of the screen and projector, up to 3 handheld microphones, technical support, and a technical rehearsal of 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the event day at 10:30am. A branding package is also available which includes use of the canopy or readograph and takeover of all quad posters and digital screens.

How much does bar hire cost and what are the capacity limits?

Exclusive bar hire costs £300 + VAT per hour for up to 250 people standing. If you only need an area in the bar for up to 100 people standing, this costs £150 + VAT per hour.

What are the content delivery requirements and associated fees?

Content must be delivered in DCP format 72 hours prior to the technical rehearsal. If you have another format, conversion costs £500 + VAT. There are additional fees for late delivery or missed technical rehearsals, and you can connect your laptop to the projector for presentations.

What food and beverage options are available and how far in advance must orders be placed?

In-house options include tea and coffee receptions, breakfast items, pizzas and light bites. For drinks, they offer self-service house wine, prosecco, beers and soft drinks (budget £6 per person per drink), with cocktails and premium drinks available on pre-order. All orders must be placed 2 weeks ahead of your event to ensure staffing and stock availability.

When is the mandatory technical rehearsal and how long does it last?

Technical rehearsals are mandatory and take place at 10:30am on weekdays, lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your event requirements. You must bring the laptop being used on the event day and confirm the rehearsal at least two weeks in advance as they get very booked up.

What are the different pricing structures for daytime versus evening events?

Daytime rates apply pre-6pm (4 hours costs £2,400 + VAT, 5 hours costs £3,000 + VAT). Evening slots are 5:30-8:30pm or 8:30-11:30pm at standard slot rates. All-day hire from 9am-5pm costs £4,800 + VAT, while extended hours like 12noon-11pm cost £9,000 + VAT.

What technical equipment is provided and what presentation format works best?

Each screen includes a projector, up to 3 wireless handheld microphones, and technical support. For presentations, they recommend 16x9 ratio full frame format to fill the screens properly. A lectern and directors chairs/high stools can be provided for panels or Q&As.

How far in advance can bookings be made and what's the booking availability like?

The venue gets very booked up, particularly for technical rehearsals which need confirming at least two weeks ahead. They mentioned having no availability for the rest of one year when contacted, suggesting booking well in advance is essential.

Are there any restrictions on external suppliers or special requirements?

External caterers can be arranged through the venue, and they can coordinate with external AV technicians who work alongside their in-house team. For events requiring kitchen access, they can accommodate equipment like induction stoves and microwaves (all must be PAT tested). They don't provide lapel or headset microphones, so these must be hired externally.
