What AV equipment is included in the room hire and are there additional costs?
Full use of AV equipment is included in the room hire, featuring a built-in PA system, screen, projector, clicker, HDMI cable, and strong Wi-Fi throughout the building. One flipchart can also be provided at no additional cost.
Can I bring external catering or my own food and drinks?
No, external catering is not permitted due to an exclusivity contract with the venue's caterers. Food and drinks cannot be brought in from outside providers.
What are the payment terms and when are deposits required?
Invoices are payable within 30 days, unless the event takes place within 30 days of the invoice date. A deposit invoice must be paid before your event takes place, with the final invoice issued after the event.
How far in advance do I need to confirm final catering details?
Final catering details and dietary requirements must be confirmed by 4pm the day before your event at the latest. Late dietary requirements can sometimes be accommodated but should be communicated as early as possible.
What catering options are available and what are the pricing examples?
Catering includes gourmet sandwich lunches, tea and coffee service (£4.80 + VAT per person), house brownies (£6 + VAT per person), and various salad options. The 'Seasonal Future 50 Salad' add-on costs £5 + VAT per person, while the full '50 Salad Lunch' costs £28 + VAT per person.
Is there any outdoor space available for delegates during breaks?
No, the venue does not have any private outdoor space available for guests. All event activities must take place within the indoor spaces.
What are the standard event time slots and can I extend beyond these hours?
Standard time slots are full day (08:30-17:00), half day morning (08:30-12:30), half day afternoon (13:00-17:00), and evening (18:00-22:45). Extensions beyond 17:00 are available at £250 + VAT per hour.
