Frequently asked questions

Room hire for the National Grid and David Sainsbury rooms (which form the Business space) costs £2,400 + VAT for 9am-5pm. There is a mandatory minimum catering spend of £1,000-£1,250 + VAT depending on the event. External catering is not permitted - all catering must be provided by the in-house partner Company of Cooks.

The David Sainsbury room accommodates up to 60 guests in theatre style, 24 in boardroom setup, or 28 in cabaret style. When combined with the National Grid room, you can host up to 80 guests in theatre style or 60 for standing receptions. The National Grid room features a small balcony for fresh air access.

Both rooms include 86″ plasma screens, PA system with one complimentary microphone, video camera/audio bar for 4K streaming (ideal for hybrid meetings via Teams or Zoom), connectivity via ClickShare or HDMI, and multifunctional LED wall lighting with touchscreen controls. Additional microphones and extended technical support incur extra charges.

The venue occasionally runs special promotions offering 15% off room hire. These offers are time-limited and subject to availability, so it's worth enquiring about current promotions when making your booking.

Delegate packages start from around £65-£115 + VAT per person and typically include tea/coffee on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, working lunch (selection of sandwiches, salads, cheese/antipasti platters, fruit, crisps, and brownies), afternoon refreshments, and still/sparkling water throughout. All catering is provided by Company of Cooks.

Yes, both rooms are equipped with integrated video cameras and audio bars for 4K streaming or recording, making them ideal for hybrid conferencing via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Wall plates and floor boxes provide connectivity via ClickShare or HDMI for seamless presentation setup.

Standard daytime hire runs from 9am-5pm. Evening hire is available from 6pm-11pm at different rates. The venue can accommodate events outside these hours, but pricing and availability vary depending on specific requirements and timing.
