At Troxy, it's easy to deliver something truly spectacular and our expert team is here to help you wrap up the year in style! Whether you are after a sit-down feast with bubbles flowing, or a street food extravaganza and a DJ who understands the assignment, our all-inclusive packages have everything you need to throw a party your guests will be talking about till next December.

Frequently asked questions

The base hire fee starts from £15,975 + VAT and covers 5 hours of setup, 4 hours of live event time, and 2 hours of de-rig. This includes 5 technical staff (Production Manager, FOH Sound, MONS Sound, Lighting Engineer & Stage Manager) and all in-house AV equipment. Events must finish by 10:45pm.

Security contribution is mandatory at £300 + VAT per 100 guests for up to 5 hours of live time. PRS fees are 4.2% of gross ticket sales (though exemptions may be available if artists are not PRS registered). Additional stage crew/runners cost approximately £33 + VAT per hour if required.

The minimum capacity is generally 300 guests (occasionally reduced to 250). For events expecting only 400-600 people in a 3,050 capacity venue, Troxy can close the balcony to make the space feel more intimate, though the venue may still be too large for some smaller events.

No, Troxy does not carry any backline or musical instruments. The PA system includes consoles, speakers, fills and monitors, but all musical instruments and backline equipment must be provided by the client or hired separately.

If Troxy sells 100% of tickets through their platform, there are no markback charges and you receive 100% of face value. Markback charges only apply if you sell tickets through other outlets, and there are no fees on complimentary tickets.

Troxy operates on a wet hire basis only - they do not offer dry hire. All alcohol must be sold through Troxy's bars, though alcohol sponsors may potentially be accommodated. For catering, they can operate their pie stand or you can use one of their five approved caterers: Moving Venue, Food by Dish, Seasoned Events, Boulevard Events, and KERB.

There is no on-site parking at Troxy. The nearest parking is pay and display on Caroline Street. The venue is located at 490 Commercial Road, E1 0HX with good public transport connections to Central London.

Troxy has public liability insurance for the venue. Event organizers are advised to take out employers liability insurance for anyone working for them, plus event insurance in case the show cancels, though this is not essential.

Troxy requires references from previous events at similar capacity venues before confirming bookings. They will contact these venues directly to verify your event history. Site visits can be arranged during the booking process, and dates can be pencilled subject to providing satisfactory references.

The exterior poster site is available for use at no charge, but printing and hanging the poster (which requires a scissor lift) is the client's responsibility. Most events use the smaller, more accessible poster sites instead as they are much cheaper and easier to manage.
