One of London’s best kept secrets, the historic Durham was the original trade tunnel channelling its way underneath RSA House all the way down to the Thames. The space is ideal for product launches, presentations and press briefings.

The Pop-up space can accommodate up to 30 people in theatre style with tiered seating. The space features characterful exposed brick vaults and is specifically designed for presentations, product launches, and press briefings. The tiered seating arrangement ensures good sightlines for all attendees during presentations.

Room hire rates vary by duration and day of the week, with weekend events requiring approximately £12,000 + VAT to open the house. All bookings require a minimum catering spend that must be met or exceeded with food and beverage items. Exact pricing depends on your specific event requirements and timing.

Basic AV equipment is available subject to availability and additional charges. Handheld or lapel microphones cost from £68-£75 + VAT each and require a PA system. Additional AV equipment including projectors and screens incur separate charges and must be confirmed based on availability.

RSA House will hold dates for up to two weeks while you decide on the venue. If they need a decision sooner, they provide 48 hours notice to either confirm with a signed contract or release the date. Weekend bookings may have shorter hold periods of up to five working days.

RSA House does not offer dry hire and does not permit any external catering. All food and beverage must be provided through their in-house catering services. This policy applies to all spaces including the Pop-up space.

Events typically run from 8:30am-5pm during weekdays. RSA House is normally closed over weekends, requiring special arrangements and additional costs. Access times for setup and breakdown should be discussed when booking to ensure adequate preparation time.

RSA House requires detailed information about your organization, event purpose, attendees, and content. You must confirm the event aligns with RSA's vision, mission, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments. They need to know about any dignitaries, political figures, controversial speakers, press coverage, and whether additional security is required.

Available add-ons include wireless uplighters from £22-£25 + VAT each (maximum 16, subject to availability), flipcharts with pens from £15 + VAT each, and TV screens from £200 + VAT each. All additional equipment is subject to availability and must be confirmed when booking.
