Can I hire additional spaces alongside the Terrace Gallery and what are the costs?
Yes, you can hire the Garden Room as a catering/networking area alongside the Terrace Gallery. The Garden Room accommodates up to 45 people cabaret or 80 theatre style and includes projector, screen, and PA system. The Terrace Boardroom (max 12 boardroom style) costs £580 + VAT for 9am-5pm and includes screen, PA system, and Wi-Fi.
What catering options are available and who provides them?
Catering is provided by approved suppliers including Bovingdons and Seasoned Events. A continental breakfast package with tea/coffee throughout the day costs £40 + VAT per person (minimum 12 guests). Day delegate rates and various menu options are available through these approved caterers only.
What AV equipment is included and what additional options are available?
Standard AV includes projector, screen, PA system with 1 handheld microphone, and Wi-Fi. Additional handheld microphones cost £50 + VAT each. Hybrid meeting options are available from £350 + VAT. An AV technician can be provided for more complex setups.
What are the capacity limits for different seating arrangements?
The Terrace Gallery accommodates up to 120 people theatre style or 81 people cabaret style. The Garden Room holds up to 80 theatre style or 45 cabaret style. The Terrace Boardroom is limited to 12 people in boardroom layout with built-in plasma screen.
Are there any restrictions on event timings or access hours?
Standard hire times are 9am-5pm for daytime events. Evening events in the Terrace Gallery can run 6:30pm-11pm for £2,700 + VAT. The venue has natural daylight, air conditioning, and disabled access. Access to the private garden with Horse chestnut tree is included.
Can I use external suppliers or am I restricted to approved vendors?
You must use approved catering suppliers including Bovingdons and Seasoned Events. The venue provides a list of approved caterers who will quote directly for your requirements. External AV suppliers may be permitted for complex setups, but standard AV is included in room hire.
What happens to the money from my event booking?
All monies raised from events at London Museum Spaces are used to preserve the artefacts in their collections and the history of London for generations to come, and to fund their learning programme which aims to engage with every school child in London.
Are the museum galleries accessible during my event?
The former galleries at London Museum Spaces are now closed to the public. However, the venue retains its historical significance and the spaces feature stylish archaeological displays, particularly in the Terrace Boardroom.
What is the booking process and how do I secure my date?
