The Terrace Gallery is a well-received space which has an excellent track record hosting memorable events. It is a flexible space, ideal for a birthday party, drinks reception, dancing, product launch, wedding reception, team building or networking event. Guests have access to the delightful outdoor Terrace and the Terrace Gallery can be hired with the other Terrace Rooms (Terrace Garden Room and Terrace Boardroom) for parties of up to 170 people.

The Terrace Gallery costs £1,800 + VAT for 9am-5pm or £2,700 + VAT for evening hire (6:30pm-11pm). The London Ellipse Hall and Entrance Hall together cost £7,500 + VAT for 9am-5pm, or £10,500 + VAT for evening events. The Terrace Boardroom is £580 + VAT for 9am-5pm.

The Terrace Gallery accommodates up to 100 delegates theatre style, 90 for dinner, or 150 for receptions. The London Ellipse Hall holds 250 cabaret style with good stage views, or up to 300 with restricted views behind pillars. The combined Entrance Hall and London Ellipse Hall can handle up to 300 guests for larger events.

You must use approved caterers including Seasoned Events, Bovingdons, or Humdingers. Christmas packages start from £107pp + VAT at Docklands and £131pp + VAT at London Wall. Summer packages begin at £106pp + VAT, and day delegate rates with breakfast and refreshments cost £40pp + VAT for smaller meetings.

Standard room hire includes projector, screen, PA system, Wi-Fi, and one microphone per room. The London Ellipse Hall includes the LED ellipse display and AV technician. Additional handheld microphones cost £50 + VAT each, extra screens cost £250 + VAT each, and hybrid meeting options start from £350 + VAT.

The Terrace Gallery and Garden Room include direct access to a private garden with a horse chestnut tree. However, no open fires or BBQs are permitted on the premises. The outdoor terrace at Docklands is available for al fresco dining and drinks receptions.

Standard daytime events run 9am-5pm, with evening events typically 6:30pm-11pm. For conferences requiring setup, access can begin from 6am on event day. Some venues offer 3-hour evening setup windows the night before for AV testing and exhibitor preparation.

The former galleries at London Museum Spaces are now closed to the public. However, London Museum Docklands offers gallery access as part of their festive packages, allowing guests to explore the collections before events in the Riverside Room, Muscovado Hall, or Wilberforce Room.

Initial enquiries go through the venue hire team at venuehire@londonmuseum.org.uk. The venue can hold dates temporarily while quotes are prepared, but specific hold periods and deposit requirements are not detailed in the available information.
