A neutral space which leads onto our outdoor area, Prince Philip House offers an exquisite setting for intimate board dinners and receptions for up to 60 guests. Nestled in a historic Grade I listed building, this venue boasts a contemporary feel while overlooking the iconic Mall and St James’s Park. With modern amenities including a built-in screen and projector, air conditioning, and AV capabilities, it serves as a versatile blank canvas for various events. Natural daylight floods the space, enhancing the sophisticated atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy access to the stunning outdoor terrace, perfect for summer parties or networking events. Frequently asked questions

Ground floor rooms (National Grid & David Sainsbury) cost £2,400 + VAT for 9am-5pm with £1,000-£1,250 + VAT minimum catering spend. First floor spaces (Al Qasimi & ERA Foundation) cost £4,600 + VAT for 9am-5pm with £4,000-£4,950 + VAT minimum catering spend. Evening hire (6pm-11pm) for first floor is £2,000 + VAT. External catering is not permitted.

Al Qasimi accommodates 180 theatre style, 100 cabaret, 120 seated dinner, or 200 reception. Ground floor rooms (National Grid/David Sainsbury) each hold 40 cabaret, 80 theatre, or 60 reception. Michael Bishop Foundation seats 50 guests and can be used as overflow space with streaming from the main room.

Three outdoor spaces are available: Waterloo West Garden (150 capacity, 100 minimum), Stirling Square Garden (200 capacity, 120 minimum), and The Terrace. Summer packages range from £78-£125 + VAT per person depending on garden and package choice. All gardens require Crown Estate approval and must be vacated by 9pm.

Standard AV includes 86-98" plasma screens, PA system, one complimentary microphone, projector with 3m screen, staging, lectern, and basic technical support. Additional microphones cost £75 + VAT, hybrid conference packages start from £3,000 + VAT, and extended technical staffing incurs extra charges.

Standard day hire runs 9am-5pm, evening hire 6pm-11pm. Garden events must end by 9pm due to Crown Estate requirements. Events can run from 8:30am with breakfast service. Full day packages typically cover 8am-7pm for comprehensive events.

In-house catering only through Company of Cooks with extensive menu options including delegate packages, canapés, bowl food, and formal dinners. External catering is not permitted. Halal options are available. Day delegate rates range from £65-£150 + VAT per person depending on package and room selection.

Fairground rides and inflatables are prohibited in gardens, but garden games like giant Jenga are permitted. Unamplified string duos/quartets allowed in gardens. Outdoor speaker hire available for background music. Access for decorators can be arranged, and the venue can accommodate cultural celebrations including Asian mehndi events.

The venue offers provisional holds while clients consider options and can adjust proposals for specific needs and budgets. A 15% discount on room hire is occasionally offered as a special promotion. Crown Estate approval is required for garden bookings but this is typically a quick process.
