The Private Dining Room is an exclusive event space, tucked away from the main restaurant. Perfect for corporate dinners and smaller private functions. We offer quality food and stylish environment for up to 72 guests dining and 120 guests for drinks receptions.




Frequently asked questions

The Private Dining Room has a room hire fee of £1,000-£2,000 depending on the event. There is a minimum Food & Beverage spend of £4,000-£13,500 inclusive of VAT, excluding 12.5% service charge. The minimum spend varies based on event size and requirements, giving you flexibility to build your own package.

The Private Dining Room accommodates up to 72 guests for seated dining and up to 120 guests for drinks receptions. For larger events, the Crystal Ballroom can host up to 230 guests in theatre setup, and The May Fair Theatre seats 201 guests maximum.

Security is mandatory for all events over 50 guests at £30 per hour with a minimum 6-hour requirement. For 50-100 guests, one security officer is required, meaning a minimum cost of £180 per event.

Events typically run from 18:30-00:00 for evening functions. Access for setup can be arranged from earlier in the day, with some events allowing access from midday for production setup. The venue operates Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30 for planning purposes.

All meeting rooms include free Wi-Fi, LCD projector, PA system, air conditioning, and dimmer controls. The May Fair Theatre offers screening packages at £2,200 inclusive of VAT, with Q&A packages available for £650 inclusive of VAT.

Quotes are offered on a 'joint option' basis, meaning spaces are offered first-come-first-serve to multiple clients. Rates are valid for 5 working days only. You must confirm at your earliest convenience to place a provisional hold on the booking.

The venue offers halal catering options and can accommodate alcohol-free events with bespoke mocktail menus. Christmas packages are available at £145-£174 per person inclusive of VAT. Day Delegate Rates start at £120 per person and include extensive coffee breaks and three-course lunch.

All rates exclude 12.5% service charge on Food & Beverage. Some events require minimum chargeable numbers (e.g., 90-100 attendees for certain packages). The venue has limited availability for consecutive multi-day events, and some meeting spaces may be fully contracted on certain dates.

The Crystal Room can be hired at £2,000 with £13,500 F&B spend for receptions. Private Suites 1, 2, and 3 are available for breakout sessions at £2,000 each inclusive of VAT. The May Fair Atrium is used for tea/coffee breaks and networking.

Enhanced commission of 3% is available for meeting and event bookings made for 2026. Flexible bed & breakfast rates offer 15% commission through GDS bookings with chain code RD. Early booking incentives vary by season and booking window.
