It features sprung harlequin dance flooring, ceiling-flown theatre lighting, blackout drapes, a PA system, a hearing loop, and an assistance alarm. The space offers Audio-Visual equipment including a screen, projector, interactive TV/whiteboard, laptop, wireless/lapel microphone, cabled microphone, and a lectern. Photocopying/Printing services are available for both black and white as well as color printing in A4/A3 sizes. The capacity of the Black Room is 70 for Theatre style, 50 for Cabaret style, 20 for U-Shape, and 20 for Board Room setup.

Other spaces at The Boardwalk include The Green Room for small meetings and workshops, and The Purple Room for dance activities.
