Frequently asked questions

Events at The Grand Brighton, including in the Consort rooms and similar event spaces, have a mandatory finish time of 23:30pm. This applies to all private parties and celebrations held at the venue.

The Grand Brighton frequently experiences high demand and limited availability for their event spaces. Based on booking patterns, many enquiries are declined due to lack of suitable space availability, so booking well in advance is essential for securing your preferred dates.

If The Grand Brighton cannot offer suitable space for your event, they will offer to check availability at their sister hotels: Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront and Leonardo Hotel Brighton. The events team will ask if you have flexibility with dates to explore alternative options.

The Grand Brighton operates at a premium price point and may not be suitable for tight budgets. For reference, a £200 total budget for a 30-person birthday party was declined as insufficient, indicating significantly higher minimum spending requirements for venue hire and services.

The Grand Brighton does not accommodate events that start at midnight or run into the early morning hours. All events must conclude by 23:30pm, making late-night celebrations unsuitable for this venue.

The Consort rooms are specifically mentioned as suitable for smaller meetings, presentations, private dining, and board meetings. These rooms feature contemporary-meets-classic design and can accommodate intimate gatherings with luxury private dining menus available.

The Consort room includes state-of-the-art audio visual equipment as standard. The venue also offers modern AV technology across their event spaces, though specific equipment details and any additional costs would need to be confirmed during the booking process.

Contact the Events Team at The Grand Brighton on 01273 224300. The M&E (Meetings & Events) team includes Deputy Regional M&E Office Manager and M&E Executives who handle all event enquiries and bookings for the venue.
