From a private green room for speakers leading directly onto the stage to foldaway laptop tables in the seats with individual power sockets, the Kingston Lecture Theatre offers all the little touches that make it the perfect choice for a wide range of events in Birmingham for up to 150 guests. This premier lecture theatre is ideal for hosting talks, seminars as part of a conference, or even a pop-up cinema experience. The cutting-edge facilities on offer will delight planners and delegates alike.

The Kingston Lecture Theatre accommodates up to 150 guests in raked seating with foldaway laptop tables and individual power sockets at each seat. The theatre features an 8m x 9.1m stage and includes a private green room for speakers with direct stage access.

The day delegate rate is £65.94 including VAT per person per day. This includes room hire, data projector, screen, flipchart, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee with pastries on arrival, mid-morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks with biscuits, hot and cold finger buffet lunch, and iced water throughout the day.

The venue provides cutting-edge AV equipment including data projector, widescreen, PA system with multiple microphones, HDMI laptop connection, and induction loop for hearing accessibility. Dedicated technical support is available, and all AV equipment is included in the day delegate rate package.

Events typically run from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with setup access available from 8:00am. The venue office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-5pm for coordination purposes.

The venue has 14 interconnecting rooms that can be configured for various needs including breakout sessions, sponsor exhibitions, and reception areas. Multiple room bookings can be arranged for conferences requiring additional spaces beyond the main lecture theatre.

Beyond the standard package, the venue can provide hot fork buffet lunches, drinks receptions with canapés, and various refreshment options. Catering can be customized based on event requirements, with both catered and non-catered options available.

The venue is fully accessible with air conditioning throughout, induction loop for hearing accessibility, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The venue takes health and wellbeing seriously, requesting that anyone feeling unwell, particularly with respiratory symptoms, not attend the building.

The venue can accommodate multi-day conferences with flexible room configurations. For extended bookings, rooms can be secured overnight, and the venue can provide different setups for different days (such as 100 people cabaret style on day one and 50 people on day two).
