Our lecture theatres provides a spacious and versatile space, which is ideal for both conferences and workshops. 

The room can be set up in either cabaret or theatre depending on your event and our two lecture theatres can be combined to seat up to 290 people.

Lecture Theatre hire includes full AV and use of the atrium which provides the perfect breakout space for catering, networking and exhibits.

A versatile first-floor event space with a private bar, ideal for corporate events and presentations.

Impossible Wonderbar is located on the 1st floor and is the largest area of the venue, accommodating x100 seated and x170 standing.

The space lends itself to corporate events, whether this be meetings, conferences, work shops or networking and boasts private facilities and a private bar. 

The space is available to hire as a room or alongside various food and drinks packages. Both professional lighting sound equipment are available as well as a projector and screen which are located on the stage at the front of the space, making it perfect for formal presentations.

The Chairman's Suite was the original office of the Chair of the North Eastern Railway and accommodates up to 40 delegates. After board meetings he could retire the suite and dine alone, with close associates or those he was on to impress - and impress is what the room does very well.

An elegant historic room for up to 100 guests, perfect for ceremonies, banquets, and meetings.

With seating available for 80, and standing room for 100, there is no end to the events that could be showcased in the State Room.

Take advantage of a single room hire, having an intimate civil ceremony and reception, using the caterers of your choice. Host a conference or workshop; we provide the flips charts, stationery, projectors, and refreshments. Or throw a decadent banquet, fit for the Lord Mayor, using a caterer of your choice.

A charming and versatile space in a historic Victorian house in York, suitable for intimate dinners or standing receptions.

The Front Room at Cafe Rouge York is a large and airy space with plenty of original features such as as the sash windows and original fireplace. The room is well lit and airy with plenty of light but equally cosy in the evening. We can accommodate up to 24 people for a lunch or dinner or up to 40 people for standing buffets or drinks receptions. The back snug area can be used as additional space as well to make this room suitable for groups of up to 40.

Belfrey Hall is situated in the centre of York, the Hall has the capacity to seat up to 80 for formal dinners, whilst up to 100 guests can be accommodated for other events.

Elegant oak-paneled room with garden views in a historic Victorian hotel. Ideal for grand events.

In the early years of the alst century, a new wing was added to the original hotel building. Known as the Klondyke Wiine - because it opened in the same year as the famous gold rush - it boasts some of the grandest most beautiful crafted rooms in the entire hotel. Chief among these is the Oak room, which combines oak panels and decorative carvings with double-height sash windows and sweeping views of the hotel gardens and Minster.
