The Parlor Rooms were the place in times gone by where the most important guests would be received. With the sweeping views over the parkland that these rooms command, it's easy to understand why. The rooms have been kept to their original dimensions with concessions made to provide flexibility for events with dividers to separate. The beautiful hexagonal Parlor Bar mirrors the original patters found in much of the ceiling detailing and provides a private bar for events, with direct access on to the beautiful spacious terrace, which is the most perfect place for a champagne reception!

This gallery is located next to the Imperial War Museum's Main Exhibition Space. It is a compelling venue which features a high technical specification and a spectacular Harrier Jump Jet. Previously it has been successfully used to host wedding receptions, social gatherings, Summer as well as Christmas parties and dinners for up to 120 guests.

From the sunlit Gothic windows, to the inglenook fireplace, the Baronial Hall's stunning original features will be a gorgeous backdrop to your special day.  The space is ideal for ceremonies, and can be rearranged for dinner following a reception in the impressive Association Room opposite.  You could also sign the register or even hold the ceremony in the neighbouring Chetham's Library - the oldest public library in the English-speaking world.
