A spacious ballroom with river views, ideal for conferences and receptions up to 600 guests.

This is a spacious and airy room with floor to ceiling windows on one side offering spectacular views of the River Irwell and the Calatrava Bridge ( Ballroom 1 only). Both sides of the ballroom have a pull down screen and a ceiling mounted projector. The room has electronic blackout blinds. Also comes with its own Pre Function area just outside the room.

The Park Suite is our most popular size room for 50+ delegates. 

The room can hold up to 130 delegates in a theatre style layout and up to 80 guests in a cabaret style layout. The floor to ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light keeping delegates engaged throughout the day. Partition walls divide easily  making the space completely versatile.

The Barbirolli Room is a spacious light-drenched room for conferences & meetings at the heart of the internationally renowned Bridgewater Hall.  With great transport links, first-class conferencing equipment, and delicious on-site catering, The Barbirolli Room has everything you need for a successful business event.  The retractable tiered theatre-style seats can accommodate 160 delegates, or 140 can be seated for dining.

The largest of the museum’s Venue Hire spaces; the brick and terracotta Engine Hall features vast arched windows, a vaulted glass ceiling, polished concrete floor and other original heritage features including colourful Pilkington tiles and intricate metal work. Housed in a historic Grade II listed Pump House, it is a renowned Manchester landmark.
