The Council House

A stylish mezzanine space with floor-to-ceiling windows, ideal for receptions and exhibitions.

With floor to ceiling windows overlooking Centenary Square, The Mezzanine provides the perfect space for exhibitions and catering, networking or drinks receptions. The newly refurbished space can accommodate up to 150 people standing and up to 10 exhibition stands. Please note we are a working theatre and this area can get used during intervals if we have a performance. We will be able to inform you if there will be a performance in advance.

Hyatt Regency Birmingham's, Sonata suite is an adaptable space for a wide variety of events from dinners, receptions and meetings. 

The room provides 144 square metres of state-of-the-art space with a maximum capacity of 100 people theatre style. It is located on the ground floor of the hotel and is accessible through the lobby area. The Sonata Suite is self-contained as has its own private bathroom facilities. The entrance area of the room provides the ideal setting for pre-dinner drinks and cocktails.
