At Cafe Rouge York we don't just have a private room for hire but we have a whole upper floor. This listed building is a converted Victorian house so benefits from three private rooms on one the upper floor. The first room is the Minster Room and can accommodate 18 people seated and has its own bar. The Front Room is next door and is a large and airy space with room for up to 24 people seated or 40 standing and has a smaller Snug room at the back, perfect for 16 additional guests.
Minster Room
The Minster Room at Cafe Rouge York is the perfect private space for a small drinks party of up to 20 people or for a private lunch or dinner for up to 18 people. The room has its own bar and amazing views over the York Minster.

The Front Room at Cafe Rouge York is a large and airy space with plenty of original features such as as the sash windows and original fireplace. The room is well lit and airy with plenty of light but equally cosy in the evening. We can accommodate up to 24 people for a lunch or dinner or up to 40 people for standing buffets or drinks receptions. The back snug area can be used as additional space as well to make this room suitable for groups of up to 40.

Cafe Rouge York is located in the historic centre of York and is located in an old Victorian house. The venue feels very homely and welcoming with smaller rooms leading off a grand hallway. The real surprise is upstairs where three private dining rooms can be hired for large groups or two adjoining rooms for smaller standing or seated events.
