David Lloyd George Room
The largest of the Club's private function rooms, the David Lloyd George Room features a grand piano once played by Rachmaninov, set among perfectly preserved Victorian Architecture. With the space to seat up to 110 people for formal dinners and up to 200 for a standing reception, the space can cater to events of varying sizes, with the potential to be set up in various layouts. In addition to our David Lloyd George room, our Smoking Room can be offered as a pre-event reception space for the additional price of £275 for the hour.
The Dining Room
Experience your special day among perfectly preserved Victorian architecture and exquisite features, with views of the river as the perfect backdrop. The NLC's dining room lends itself perfectly to wedding breakfasts and seated dinners, with a capacity of up to 200 reception to share the experience. At the National Liberal Club, we understand your wedding is a unique celebration of your love story. To reflect all your preferences and needs, our commitment includes the exclusive use of our Smoking Room, Terrace and green room to provide ceremony, reception and entertainment spaces.
See venueNaoroji Room
The Naoroji Room features a comprehensive array of business-grade technology, with a large 75-inch screen and webcam supporting audio/video conference calling for remote access meetings. Presentations can easily be made too, with laptops or mobile devices connecting quickly and simply to the screen. The room focuses on meetings, with a large central modular table seating a maximum of 20 people. For other event types, the central table can easily be rearranged to suit classroom or theatre style, accommodating up to 50 people.

The Lawrence Robson room is the NLC's Boardroom, making it ideal for smaller corporate and business meetings. The primary feature of the room is the large solid wood table which comfortably seats up to 12 in traditional boardroom style. Though this can easily be adjusted to accommodate up to 20 people seated on standard-sized conference chairs. Presentations are supported via a projector and screen, as well as microphones and our audio speaker system.

The Lady Violet room is an oasis of calm, with plenty of natural light, decorative corners and elegant period features. Its charming layout provides the ideal backdrop for all manner of events. With the ability to curate flexible layouts, we are proud to accommodate various group sizes and functions of up to 70 guests, with equipment on offer such as a projector, screen and audio speaker system, allowing for our guests to host events from dinners to small gatherings and lectures. In addition to our Lady Violet Room, we also offer the Smoking Room as a reception space for £275 for the hour.

The Smoking room is one of the most impressive rooms at the National Liberal Club. The supremely elegant room, framed by its tile columns, has two large adaptable spaces at either end; One of which makes the perfect location for wedding ceremonies and receptions of up to 150 people. In the evening, the room converts neatly to accommodate a dance floor, providing space for entertainment and socialising.

The jewel in the Club's crown, especially in the spring and summer, is surely the terrace. Unique in London, the National Liberal Club's magnificent terrace overlooks Embankment Gardens and the River Thames with views towards the London Eye and Southbank. Shaded by enormous trees, which not only provide welcome shade but also reduce traffic noise, the terrace is large enough to seat over 100 people can cater to various events, such as barbecues, summer parties and drinks receptions, offering a picturesque backdrop at one of London's premiere alfresco entertainment spaces.
