Collections Hall
At the heart of V&A East Storehouse is a cavernous central Collections Hall. This immersive space is surrounded by four huge floors of storage shelves and racking systems, with open shelves and objects as far as the eye can see. The Collections Hall benefits from unique architectural features such as a central glass floor panel, giving guests a birds-eye view of the objects below. The Collections Hall can accommodate various event formats including drinks receptions, product launches, private dining and even fashion shows, and can be combined with the nearby Welcome Space for arrival drinks.
Welcome Space
Upon arrival to V&A East Storehouse, visitors enter into the Welcome Space. This bright and expansive space is perfect for a drinks reception, with a standing capacity of 300 guests. A fantastic blank canvas, the Welcome Space is highly customisable and can be used for a variety of event formats such as panel discussions, product launches and talks, alongside a private view of the V&A's collections. With moveable room dividers to further customise the space, and clear surfaces perfect for projection and video mapping, the Welcome Space is the perfect venue for any event.

V&A East Storehouse is a 16,000m2 purpose-built home for over 250,000 objects, 350,000 library books and 1,000 archives. Offering an entirely new Museum experience, this fascinating space houses some of the oldest, to the smallest, objects in the V&A's collection, interspersed with colossal architectural fragments and room sets.
From June 2025 this unique space, unlike any other Museum space in London, is available to hire out-of-hours, for unforgettable dinners, private views, fashion shows, or as an iconic backdrop to a drinks reception.
