Spaces at Sadler's Wells

Sadler's Wells has a 1500 seat main auditorium which is equipped with advanced theatre technology ensuring unbeatable technical service, from computer controlled flying to state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment.

The auditorium provides tiered seating for up to 1,000 people with catering served in the newly refurbished Circle Bars. Behind the scenes at the Peacock Theatre, our technical staff have the expertise to ensure every event or performance runs smoothly with professional results.

Recently refurbished with the latest sound and lighting equipment, the Lilian Baylis Studio combines state-of-the-art event facilities with a real theatre atmosphere to create the perfect setting for seminars, performances and conferences. It is a stimulating and intimate venue with flexible design. The raked seating can be retracted at the touch of a button to reveal a blank canvas for private dining, parties and evening receptions. The Lilian Baylis Studio includes three private dressing rooms and is managed exclusively by a team of experienced technicians.

The Rosebery Room is our principle conference and meeting space with natural daylight and state of the art technical equipment. The room has a modern industrial feel and benefits from plenty of natural light and air conditioning.

The Teneisha Bonner and Cripplegate rooms are ideal for small boardroom style meetings or as an office base during larger events. The spaces boast full AV provision in a contemporary environment.

The Kahn is ideal for private screenings, meetings, workshops and seminars for small to medium sized groups. It is a modern and recently refurbished space with natural daylight.

The bright and contemporary Pina Bausch Room is a modern space with plenty of natural light and state of the art technical equipment. It is great for meetings.
