Engine Rooms at Tower Bridge

Venue hire starts from £7,250 + VAT for The Walkways (for evening events) and from £2,035.00 VAT for the Engine Rooms (three-hour minimum). The hire cost is fixed and does not decrease with fewer guests.

The Walkways host up to 350 guests comfortably for parties and receptions. Seated dinners in a single Walkway are limited to 60 guests. For daytime events, seated capacity drops to 36 in the North Tower Lounge. The Engine Rooms has a capacity of 120 standing and 60 pax seated

Typical evening hire periods run from 18:30 or 19:00 until 23:00 or 00:00. A three-hour minimum applies to Engine Room events. Early access for setup (e.g., from 17:00) is possible by arrangement and may incur extra charges. Daytime hires are restricted to small numbers (up to 36) due to public visitor access during the day.

Catering is exclusively by Social Pantry. Options include canapés, bowl food, three-course seated dinners, and drinks packages. No external caterers or self-catering is permitted.

The venue prohibits partial hires; only full exclusive hires are allowed. There are restrictions on event timing during public opening hours, and daytime large group events are not possible. No external catering is permitted as catering is exclusively managed by Social Pantry. All event décor and AV setup must be coordinated in advance; production, entertainment, and use of bands or DJs may incur additional costs and must be pre-approved.

Initial enquiries are reviewed for date and capacity fit. Quotes are bespoke based on requirements (venue hire, food, drink, staff). Once a quote is accepted, a contract is issued with deposit/payment terms (exact payment timelines not specified). A 10% commission applies to all contracted items and is invoiced post-event upon payment clearance. Holding dates pending confirmation is not guaranteed; firm bookings require prompt confirmation.

Catering must go through Social Pantry; all other suppliers (AV, production, entertainment) must be coordinated with and approved by the venue team in advance. AV needs and upgrades can be added to your quote as required. If bringing entertainment or a band, approval from Tower Bridge is required beforehand.
