Frequently asked questions

The maximum capacity is 15 people for events. If you need space for more than 15 guests, the venue is considered too small and alternative venues will be recommended. The space works best for intimate gatherings and professional meetings.

Base pricing starts at £1050 + VAT for a 9am-5pm booking, with half-day rates at £600-700 + VAT. Evening bookings incur higher fees than daytime rates. Payment can be made via bank transfer or payment link (payment link incurs a 2% Stripe fee).

You must pay the booking fee at least 7 days before the event, plus a refundable damage deposit equal to 30% of the booking fee. The damage deposit is refunded within 7 days after the event, subject to owner confirmation of no damage. You'll also need to provide a certificate of liability insurance.

The space includes a projector, screen, flipchart, and fully equipped kitchen. Layout options include leaving the room as-is, theatre style seating, boardroom style, or casual mix of chairs, armchairs and sofas. AV equipment and cleaning are included in the hire price.

There is metered on-street parking available from 8:30am-6:30pm with a maximum 4-hour limit. Outside these hours, parking is free and unlimited. The nearest multi-storey car park is at 11 Clere St, London EC2A 4LJ, open 6:30am-7pm.

Equipment delivery and storage the day before your event is possible but incurs an extra fee (amount to be discussed with owner). This is particularly relevant if there's another event finishing at 6pm the day before your booking.

After providing event details, they're shared with the owner for final confirmation and quote. Upon quote acceptance, you must sign a location agreement, pay the booking fee and damage deposit at least 7 days before the event, and submit liability insurance. Owner approval is required for all bookings.

The venue is not suitable for live music performances or events with loud activities due to nearby neighbours. It's designed for professional corporate events only - no overnight stays are permitted. The space works best for meetings, workshops, filming, and similar professional activities.

You can bring your own catering with access to the fully equipped kitchen. Alternatively, they work with Natural Kitchen (Mediterranean/Healthy, £10-30 per person) and Sands Catering (Mediterranean/Asian, £15-40 per person). You contact caterers directly to arrange services.

Post-event cleaning is included in the hire price. However, if you require additional cleaning at any point during the event, this will incur an additional charge. Standard post-event cleanup is covered but any extra cleaning needs must be arranged separately.
