Frequently asked questions

The Dining room costs £600 plus VAT for exclusive hire. This includes the venue space, but catering, beverages, and any additional services are charged separately. If earlier or later access is required beyond standard hours, additional room hire and staff charges may apply.

The Dining room can accommodate up to 80 guests for seated dining events. For larger groups requiring seated dining, the venue may not be suitable as this appears to be the maximum capacity for their dining space.

Plated breakfast options include: Coconut and Bircher oats with seasonal fruits (£7.50), Smashed 'no avocado' on sourdough toast with savoury seed granola (£9.50), Ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote (£9.50), Seasonal fruits with lime and mint (£7.50), London cured smoked salmon eggs royale (£15.00), and Full English breakfast (£25.00). All breakfast menus include freshly brewed Community blend coffee, English breakfast tea, and herbal infusions.

Still and sparkling mineral water costs £4.75 plus VAT per 750ml bottle, charged on consumption. Fruit juices (cranberry, pineapple, apple, or orange) cost £7.50 plus VAT per bottle, also charged on consumption basis rather than per person.

No catering is allowed in the Court room, and plated breakfast service would not work in the Court corridor. The Dining room is specifically recommended for events requiring catering services, particularly plated meals.

The venue can accommodate branding on screen and AV equipment for presentations. Specific AV requirements should be confirmed during booking as costs and availability may vary depending on the setup needed.

Events typically run during standard venue hours, with examples showing 08:00-13:00 timings. If earlier or later access is required beyond these standard hours, additional room hire and staff charges will apply, though specific rates for extended hours are not specified.

The venue offers provisional holds on dates with first option availability. The booking process involves initial enquiry, proposal review, and confirmation, but specific hold periods and deposit requirements are not detailed in the available information.

While not explicitly stated for the Dining room, the venue has indicated that some guest numbers may be too small for certain bookings. It's advisable to confirm minimum requirements during the enquiry process, particularly for smaller groups.

The room hire includes the exclusive use of the Dining space, but all catering, beverages, staffing, linen, cutlery, crockery, and glassware are charged separately. The venue provides these items through their in-house catering company, Company of Cooks.
