The hall features state of the art technology, including London's only 360° digital ellipse and plasma screen which can display bespoke designs to complement and enhance your special event. Guests have access to wait staff who will ensure that your birthday party, reception, award ceremony, corporate event or special function is an inevitable success.

The London Ellipse Hall and Entrance Hall can be hired together to host up to 1000 guests.

The London Ellipse Hall and Entrance Hall together cost £7,500+VAT for daytime hire (9am-5pm). The Weston Theatre with Entrance Hall is £7,600+VAT for the same period. Individual spaces include Terrace Gallery at £1,800+VAT (9am-5pm), Terrace Boardroom at £580+VAT (9am-5pm), and evening hire for Terrace Gallery at £2,700+VAT (6:30pm-11pm).

The London Ellipse Hall accommodates up to 250 guests in cabaret style with good stage visibility, or up to 300 guests with some restricted views behind pillars. The Weston Theatre seats 200 in conference style. Terrace Gallery holds 100 for daytime meetings or 90 for dinner, while the Garden Room accommodates 45 cabaret or 80 theatre style.

Approved caterers include Seasoned Events, Bovingdons, and Humdingers. Christmas packages start from £107+VAT per person at Docklands and £131+VAT per person at London Wall. Summer packages begin at £106+VAT per person. Day delegate breakfast packages are available from £40+VAT per person for 12 guests including continental breakfast and refreshments.

The London Ellipse Hall includes LED ellipse, plasma screen, AV technician, PA system, stage and lectern. The Weston Theatre provides projector, screen, lectern, 2 microphones, PA system, and AV technician. Terrace spaces include projector, PA system with 1 microphone, and Wi-Fi. Additional handheld microphones cost £50+VAT each, and hybrid options start from £350+VAT.

Standard daytime hire runs 9am-5pm, with evening events typically 6:30pm-11pm. The venue requires 3-hour setup access the evening before for major conferences with AV testing. Events can extend to 23:00 for evening functions. Early morning access from 6am is available for large conferences requiring extensive setup time.

Initial enquiries go through venuehire@londonmuseum.org.uk with dedicated sales coordinators assigned to each booking. Quotes are provided with detailed proposals including room layouts, timings, and catering options. The venue offers site visits and 3D virtual tours to help with planning. Payment terms and deposit requirements are confirmed during the booking process.

Yes, spaces can be combined for larger events. The Entrance Hall works as a welcome and catering area alongside the London Ellipse Hall for the main event. The Weston Theatre includes the Entrance Hall in its hire fee. Terrace Gallery can be paired with Garden Room for catering, and breakout rooms like the Terrace Boardroom can be added for syndicate sessions.

The venue features London's only 360° digital ellipse that can display twinkling lights, chandelier effects, or bespoke commissions. The Terrace rooms offer direct garden access with a private outdoor space featuring a horse chestnut tree.
