Frequently asked questions

Half-day delegate packages cost £46 per person (excluding VAT) and include either arrival breakfast or grazing lunch, 1 snack break, unlimited teas/coffees/juices/water, room hire, and AV equipment. Full-day packages cost £59 per person (excluding VAT) and include arrival breakfast, grazing lunch, 2 snack breaks, unlimited beverages, room hire, and AV equipment. All prices are subject to 12.5% service charge.

The mainspace can accommodate up to 200 delegates in theatre setup or 60 delegates in cabaret style with a minimum of 120 delegates required. The private room accommodates up to 70 delegates in theatre setup, 36 in cabaret style, or 28 in boardroom setup with a minimum of 30 delegates required.

Events typically run from 9am with varying end times depending on the day. On Thursdays, the venue opens to the public at 2pm, so conferences must end by 1pm or pay additional fees to extend opening hours. The venue operates before 8am only with special arrangements as this is before operational hours.

All business bookings include a 10ft cinematic screen, HD projector, 2 handheld microphones, lectern, furniture (chairs), and complimentary Wi-Fi. The venue has state-of-the-art Funktion1 sound system and can accommodate various layouts including theatre, cabaret, and boardroom styles.

Furniture hire costs vary by space and event size. For the mainspace with 200 delegates, furniture hire costs around £800 plus VAT. For the private room events, furniture hire is listed as not applicable (N.A.) in most cases, but chair hire fees might be applicable for full venue events due to limited chairs.

A 25% confirmation deposit is required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance due no later than 14 days prior to the event date (or 28 days for full venue hires). For bookings made within 14 days of the event date, full payment is required upfront. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Events can potentially run until 2am instead of standard closing times, but this requires special arrangement and additional costs. On Thursdays specifically, if conferences need to continue past 1pm when the venue opens to the public, additional fees apply to extend opening hours.

Private room minimum spends vary by day: Tuesday £2,500 plus VAT plus 12.5% service charge, Wednesday £3,200 plus VAT plus 12.5% service charge, Thursday £4,200 plus VAT plus 12.5% service charge. The minimum spend goes towards food, drinks, and activity costs.

Availability is live and cannot be guaranteed for extended periods due to high demand. The venue recommends confirming as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. If no response is received within 24-48 hours of a quote, enquiries may be closed, though rebooking is possible by contacting the venue directly.

The venue is strictly over 18s only, which applies to all events including business functions. This restriction must be considered when planning corporate events that might include younger attendees or interns.
