The Palm Court is a stunning reception area and is most certainly the area within our events space with the biggest wow factor! The glass domed roof of the Palm Court creates a distinct feeling of being outside when in. Its high glass ceiling allows light to flood in by day whilst turning into a focal point, lighting up, as evening falls. This space is ideal for standing functions or drinks receptions.
The London Ellipse Hall and galleries is suitable for large scale, evening wedding celebrations, civil partnerships and wedding ceremonies. The hall boasts London's only 360° digital ellipse and plasma screen which can create a unique ambience and acts as a fantastic backdrop for wedding photography or films. Additionally, guests have access to an experienced events team, caterers, as well as the Museum's unparalleled collections, professional tour guides and waiting staff. The Entrance Hall and London Ellipse can be hired altogether to for a wedding party of up to 600 guests.
Opened by Queen Victoria in 1845, the Great Hall, complete with striking fresco, minstrel's gallery and a ceiling of beautifully worked oak, is described as one of the most impressive surviving buildings of its kind in London and provides a spectacular setting for all types of events. Suitable for receptions for up to 450 guests, dinners for up to 250 guests, lectures and ceremonies for up to 300 guests and wedding receptions and dinner dances for up to 200 guests. The adjoining Bench Rooms and an east facing terrace overlooking impressive grounds is perfect for arrival receptions.
Frameless is an events venue like no other - you have the entire 30,000 square foot venue to immerse your guests in art or customise the content in the main gallery to bring your brand or vision to life! With a capacity of 500 people, Frameless is the most unique and customisable venue in London - from private parties to celebrations with family and friends - speak to our Events Team to see how they can bring your event to life! Exclusive hire of the gallery is limited to a certain number of days per year and we would be happy to discuss this in more detail.
A hidden gem located in the heart of Central London and less than five minutes' walk from Chancery Lane station, The Walks at Gray's Inn offer five acres of private gardens with the custom-built Marquee between June and July months. The purpose-built structure can accommodate receptions, casual BBQ parties, awards and dinners. It comes with built-in cloakroom, luxury toilets, bar, dancefloor, soft seating and garden furniture.
Located next to the Grace Gate, and overlooking the Pavilion and the Harris Garden, the Thomas Lord Suite combines considerable style with ease of use. The Palm Court and Adelphi Suite, with its state of the art lighting, is the perfect venue for any conference, exhibitions and dinner dances. It can be separated into three separate rooms and as a whole can hold up to 380 banquet-style or a glittering reception for up to 500 guests.
