Business Events at BEAT: Following in the Footsteps of Musical Icons

In 1966, The Speakeasy Club opened on Marylebone's Margaret Street, and soon hosted some of the biggest names popular music has ever seen, from Jimi Hendrix to David Bowie.

Today, the very same club is known as BEAT, and it pays homage to the legends hosted in its early speakeasy days by means of its artwork and soundtrack. It's partly this throwback ambience, and partly the urban, industrial décor with exposed brickwork that makes this such an attractive nighttime venue.

Corporate entertainment events will find a home at BEAT, whether they're networking functions, drinks receptions or any other type of business event. With space for up to 250 guests, the venue makes visitors feel welcome with its gastronomical hospitality, including inspired cocktails, and delicious bowl food and canapés.

Branding or theming, if key to the event, is easy thanks to the expansive projection wall, split into three sections, as well as the flexible lighting. And we haven't even mentioned the huge dance floor and Funktion-One sound system – plus the licence to 4am – all of which allow for parties to extend into the early morning.

Although the venue is famous for being alive at night, it's also a perfect space for business events during the daytime. The same projection wall is useful for presentations, and the seating setup can be arranged in a classroom or seminar style, which is ideal for conferences, away days and team-building events.

Above all, the professional team at BEAT is dedicated to making the venue's appearance reflect your event, ensuring the purpose of your function is present in every corner of the club. Every element is tailored to making your event stand out from the rest. And it's just pretty darn cool to have some futuristic lighting, bumping bass and decadent delicacies on hand, as well.
