The Old Hall is a wonderful example of beautifully maintained Tudor architecture and has many notable features including the wooden screen at the south end designed by Inigo Jones, and Hogarth’s painting of 'Paul before Felix' on the North wall. It creates a desirable setting ideal for receptions for up to 200 guests, seated lunches and dinners for up to 120 guests, and conferences, lectures, meetings, seminars and ceremonies for up to 130 guests.

The Old Hall accommodates up to 120 guests for seated dinners, up to 200 guests for standing receptions, and up to 130 guests for conferences or ceremonies. For events requiring 120+ seated guests, you'll need to use the Old Hall/Crypt combination which can handle minimum 120 guests for dinner events.

Room hire for the Old Hall ranges from £2,750 for evening events (17:30-23:00) to £6,600 for dry hire. All catered events have a minimum food & beverage spend requirement of £7,310-£18,600 depending on the event size and type. Day delegate rates start at £91-£127.20 per person with minimum numbers required.

Events can run until 16:00 with all guests departed by 16:30 for daytime events, or until 22:30 with de-rig by 23:00 for evening events. Setup access is typically available from 17:30 for evening events or 08:00 for day events. The venue is closed for the entire month of August and from 17 April to 28 April for Easter.

No, outside food is not permitted at Lincoln's Inn. All catering must be provided by the venue's in-house catering team. Depending on your caterer requirements, there might be additional small fees, but external catering is not allowed.

The venue offers day delegate rates (£91-£127.20 per person) including room hire, AV, arrival refreshments, mid-morning breaks, two-course lunch, and afternoon refreshments. Christmas packages are available at £176 per person including champagne reception, unlimited drinks, nibbles, 5 canapés and 3 bowl food items. All packages have minimum guest requirements.

The venue is not suitable for certain event types including sixth form proms and some corporate events depending on format. DJ and loud music events may have restrictions. Events must align with the venue's historic and professional character as a legal institution.

Meeting spaces require a minimum of 30 guests. Day delegate packages require minimum 90-158 delegates depending on the package. Dinner events in the Old Hall/Crypt require minimum 120 guests. Christmas packages require minimum 90 guests.

Day delegate packages include projection, screen and sound facilities with an AV technician in the lecture theatre. Additional AV requirements and technical support may incur extra charges. The venue can accommodate presentations, conferences, and ceremonies with appropriate technical setup.

The venue can put dates on tentative hold while you decide. Availability varies significantly by season and day of the week, with limited Thursday availability in November and no availability during August closure. Security services may be mandatory for certain events at £400-£480. Event extensions with bar service until midnight incur additional charges of £800-£960. All prices are subject to 20% VAT. Some events may require additional staffing or technical support at extra cost.
