The first floor of the stunning The Hari is the perfect party venue for exclusive private and corporate events. Offering access to our stunning Boardroom, Terrace, Bar and Snug areas, the first floor is ideal for larger cocktail or drinks parties, corporate events or private celebrations such as birthdays, engagements or anniversaries.

The Hari's stunning New York aesthetic combines the bohemian with the chic, and both drinks and catering can be designed around your venue hire requirements.

The Bar can host up to 120 guests for a standing reception including The Garden Terrace.




Frequently asked questions

The Snug (semi-private bar area) has no room hire fee but requires a £1,200-£1,500 minimum spend including VAT. The Garden Terrace costs £700-£1,000 room hire plus £1,500-£1,650 minimum spend. The Hari Bar exclusive hire is £3,000 plus £5,000-£10,200 minimum spend. All prices include VAT and are subject to 12.5-13.5% service charge on top.

The Snug accommodates up to 30 guests for standing reception. The Garden Terrace holds up to 30 guests standing or 15 seated. The Hari Bar can accommodate up to 120 guests for standing reception when hired exclusively, including access to The Garden Terrace. The Muse private dining room seats up to 22 guests in boardroom setup.

Events typically run from early evening (6pm-7pm start) until 11pm-midnight. Some daytime events are available from 2pm-6pm. DJ music must stop at 11pm for exclusive hires. Cocktails must be pre-ordered and all beverages are charged on consumption throughout the event.

You can only bring your own DJ at The Garden Terrace as it's a fully private venue. DJs are not permitted in The Snug or other semi-private areas. For exclusive hire of The Hari Bar, DJ entertainment is allowed but must stop playing at 11pm.

You can only bring your own cake with a £100 fee charged by the venue. All other food arrangements must come through their kitchen with pre-orders required. All bottled beverages are charged on consumption and cocktails must be pre-ordered. The venue will inform you when minimum spend is reached during the event.

The venue places holds on dates but releases them if no response is received by specified deadlines (often by 12pm on the day for same-day bookings). For advance bookings, they follow up multiple times before releasing holds. Confirmation requires response to their proposals within their specified timeframes.

The Snug offers complimentary room hire but requires minimum spend. The Garden Terrace and Hari Bar room hire fees are in addition to minimum food and beverage spend requirements. All spaces include basic setup, but specific AV equipment, special arrangements, or additional services may incur extra charges.

Yes, il Pampero restaurant offers semi-private dining with lower minimum spends (£1,000-£1,900 including VAT) but it's a table in the restaurant, not fully private. This Italian restaurant option provides an alternative for groups who want a more intimate setting without the full private hire costs.

Service charges vary between 12.5% and 13.5% depending on the event date and space. The service charge is applied to your total food and beverage spend, not the room hire fee. This is mandatory and added on top of your minimum spend requirements.

The venue may decline bookings if budgets are too low for their minimums, as seen with several enquiries being turned down. For smaller budgets, they sometimes offer complimentary room hire with adjusted minimum spends, or suggest alternative spaces like il Pampero restaurant with lower requirements.
