The Hire Space Awards celebrate the very best of the events industry by recognising and rewarding hard working, innovative and forward-thinking venues and event bookers from across the UK. The Hire Space Awards will take place at Landing 42, Leadenhall Building, on 24th October 2017.
This awards celebrates the best new venue on the events scene over the last 12 months.
Nominations are now closed for this category, and the “Turbo Period” of the shortlisting process is now underway. Shortlisted venues will be announced on 23rd August.
For the Best All Round of Use of Technology award, venues will be shortlisted based on Venue Expert team (30%), enquiry history (40%) and booking history (30%). To increase these metrics, we recommend:

Earlybird tickets for the awards are now on sale, priced at £179+VAT.
These tickets are subject to a 10% discount for three or more tickets, and a 25% discount for a table of ten people (£1,342+VAT).

Full venue submissions for shortlisted venues will be judged on the following criteria:
A versatile range of events held with creative use of space
The quality of the facilities and technology
The quality of the customer service and client support
Effective sustainability and CSR initiatives
A venue built with accessibility in mind
12th July-26th July: Initial submission.
12th July-23rd Aug: Hire Space shortlisting and Turbo Period.
23rd Aug-22nd Sept: 5 shortlisted venues invited to enter full submissions.
22nd Sept-6th Oct: Judging period.
24th Oct: Hire Space Awards.
