Here at Hire Space, we pride ourselves on finding the most unique and unusual venues around. And with 50 venues signing up to the site each month, it can sometimes be tough to keep up with all of the fresh new spaces on offer.

So, to make things a little easier, we've picked out our favourite venues that have just joined the site. From bars to offices, and even an iconic war ship, these venues can be used for anything.

1. Little Nan's Rio Bar

Dalston Kingsland

Little Nan's Rio Bar is an award-winning cocktail bar located in the secret vaults of the Rio Cinema on Kingsland Road, Dalston.

It's a quirky, kitsch 90s throwback bar, filled with film memorabilia and decorated, as the name suggests, a bit like your Nan's living room (that's if your nan has a penchant for leopard-print ceilings, of course). On offer you'll find an extensive cocktail menu, as well as wines and beers. There's also unlimited popcorn and a pick 'n' mix stand for your entertainment – seriously, what more could you ever want?

2. Regent Street Cinema

Oxford Circus

For an iconic piece of British cinematic history, there really is no venue to match Regent Street Cinema. Built in 1848, the cinema was the first in the country to show moving picture. In 1896, it showcased the Lumière brothers’ Cinématographe to a paying audience, and thus, British cinema was born.

Having been beautifully restored to its true elegance, the cinema at Regent Street Cinema is now available to hire for events, exhibitions, conferences, weddings and screenings.

3. The Happiness Lab at Perkbox

Blackfriars

Perkbox, the employee rewards start-up, has opened up its newly-refurbished 'Happiness Lab' inside its very own office. Perkbox believe that 'happy environments drive creativity, collaboration and innovation', and it's certainly an inspiring space.

Decorated in whites and blues, and with plenty of light, this bright space is suitable for events, brainstorms, conferences, team-building days and workshops, for up to 70 people standing. As an added perk the room is also free of charge for Perkbox customers, as well as HR and learning and development professionals.

4. HMS Belfast

London Bridge

It goes without saying that HMS Belfast is something of a national treasure. Beginning her service in the Second World War, this incredible ship played a leading role in the Normandy Landing, and remained active until 1965.

Now moored near London Bridge, this glorious icon of British history is available to hire for events for up to 250 people. The whole ship is available for exclusive hire, or you can opt for one of its five magnificent spaces.

With unrivalled 360 degree views of London and the River Thames, this really is one of the world's most exciting and incredible event spaces.

5. The Old Dairy

Hackney Central

Originally used as a dairy for Hackney Marshes' cows, The Old Dairy is now one of London's best contemporary blank canvas venues.

Situated at the heart of creative East London, The Old Dairy is a popular space for exhibitions, pop-ups, brand launches and drinks receptions. With its white-washed walls and exposed beams, this venue oozes contemporary industrialism, and is bound to be a winner if you're looking for a venue with a real 'London feel'.

6. Jailbird at Joe's Southern Table & Bar

Kentish Town

You'll find Joe's Southern Table and Bar right by the station in Kentish Town. The venue is made up of the main restaurant, but also has its own private downstairs bar, Jailbird.

With a variety of mouthwatering dishes like fried chicken, ribs and mac 'n' cheese on the menu, make sure you come hungry. There's also a delicious selection of cocktails which put a twist on classics on offer – check out the 'Watermelon Martini', and the 'Bullish Negroni'.
