Spaces at A Viscounts Residence

An authentic space owned and previously lived in by a family descended from Lord Hunsdon, the son of Mary Boleyn who was commander of Queen Elizabeth’s army during the Spanish Armada and, as Lord Chamberlain, was the main patron of Shakespeare’s plays. The family, being close to the crown, were heavily involved in the English Civil War and participated in the Restoration of Charles II.

About A Viscounts Residence

The property itself benefits from a collection of important museum quality portrait pictures from the 17th - 19th century and the reception rooms have 15 foot high ceilings; making the property an imposing one not usually found in residential properties in London and maintaining the rich Georgian architectural features.
