The O2 Academy Leicester (capacity 1400) can be fully seated suitable for awards ceremonies, exhibitions, product launches, corporate conferences and Christmas parties guaranteed to impress any client. With two adjoining smaller spaces to the main O2 Academy Leicester (capacity 500 & 150) designed to function flexibly as a stand alone, production complete venues, it also provides further rooms for events. With onsite catering facilites, staging, AV/Technical equipment and event management support we can offer a unique experience to suit any event.

Situated on campus in partnership with University of Leicester Students’ Union, O2 Academy Leicester opened its doors to both students and music-loving residents in the city in September 2010. Housed in the award-winning Percy Gee building, O2 Academy Leicester sits on one of the oldest sites on the main campus. Originally built in 1957. In an 18-month major refurbishment transformed the original Students’ Union into an amazing new space across its three unique venues at O2 Academy Leicester (1,400 capacity), O2 Academy2 Leicester (500 capacity )and the Scholar (150 capacity)
