The Green Room is a perfect venue for your meeting, business event or team building day, combining modern facilities including wifi, projector (with adaptors for MAC PC etc) and kitchenette, with a quirky historic setting. The Green Room looks out onto our historic courtyard and is decorated with exhibitions from local artists adding an extra element of charm to the room. The set up is flexible with friendly helpful staff on hand throughout the event. Plus there is the option to take advantage of our guided tours (full tours = 1 hour, taster tours = 20 mins) of the museum for your delegates!


Our historic courtyard is a charming & unique venue for your event, nestled in the heart of The Coffin Works, a stunningly preserved Victorian factory. Your guests can enter the courtyard directly from Fleet Street, or come in through our time capsule museum shop to soak up the history of the building. The courtyard has been used for a myriad of different events including fashion shows, performances, parties, food fairs and music events, providing a great backdrop. Hire of the Green Room is included and we have our own pop-up bar 'The Fitting Room'! Our friendly staff are always here to help!

About The Coffin Works


A quirky meeting room in one of Birmingham's most unique venues. The Coffin Works is a Victorian factory which was built in 1894 for the Newman Brothers', manufacturers of coffin furniture (including handles, breastplates and shrouds) for the great and good. The factory was renovated in 2014 and opened as a time capsule museum. Our meeting room combines the best of a historic setting and modern facilities, plus other opportunities including courtyard hire, guided tours and a pop up bar!
